Maud Bassinger of Amarillo Texas dropped a bottle into Rogue Creek Oregon on May 29 1958. After four months the bottle was found one mile below Whiskey Creek with a note asking the finder to write. A reply arrived October 11 1938 from Wm. R. Force Benton Mines Glendale Oregon confirming receipt.
