Injured Woman Found Near Overturned Car in Amarillo
A 21 year old Amarillo woman, Charlene Shadiows of 1206 North Harrison, was found injured beside an overturned car about five miles east and four miles south of the KLYN radio tower on the Dallas Highway. She was hospitalized at St Anthony’s with back injuries and facial cuts. Authorities, including Texas Highway Patrol, investigated ownership of the car and a man believed to be the owner left the scene on foot. Shadiows is separated from her husband and has a four year old daughter. She was found by a local farmer and brought to hospital by Griggs ambulance.
