L. Breshear of San Jon New Mexico was burned to death when his empty cattle truck collided with a gasoline truck on a bridge over Revuelto Creek 15 miles east of Tucumcari on U S Highway 66. The crash hurled the truck from the bridge and fire trapped Breshear inside as the bridge burned. a coroner's inquest was under way at Tucumcari.
