Will Rogers Day Nursery Receives Red Feather Support
Will Rogers Day Nursery in Amarillo, a branch of Amarillo Day Nurseries, was established in 1945 with a building donated by Mrs. R. B. Masterson Sr. and funded by a Kiwanis campaign. The facility, formerly a residence, now serves about 45 children with four full time staff and a sliding scale fee plan, aiming at training, rest, and nutrition for the city’s children.
