Naval instructor J R Fredland says helicopters can operate in foul weather with low landing speeds and rotor independent landings. He envisions submarine defense, air eyes for patrols, mail delivery at sea, and compact flight decks enabling diverse coast guard and anti submarine tasks.
A J Arnold, an Amarillo Electric Company electrician, was burned while handling electrical wires at the Allen Shoe Store this morning. He was taken by ambulance to St Anthony's Hospital where his condition was reported not critical.
