New York October six acting on Paramount Publix approval, Karl Hoblitzelle of Dallas will acquire an interest in fifty four motion picture theaters in Texas and New Mexico. Dent Theaters Inc will transfer stock to a new corporation in which Hoblitzelle will receive half the common stock for fifty thousand dollars. Manion Faces Federal Sentence In Bailey Escape Case

Dallas October 6 Thomas L Manion and Grover Bevill were found guilty by a federal court jury of aiding Harvey Bailey’s escape from the Dallas County jail. Judge William H Atwell will sentence them later. maximum combined penalty is seven years and 24000 dollars in fines. Manion, a longtime courthouse habitué, denied the verdict claiming innocence while noting a history of military service and intrigue.
