Queen Alexandra widow of King Edward VII and mother of King George V died at Sandringham House at 6:25 PM today. Attending physicians signed a bulletin noting her passing with the royal family present. The rural Queen died peacefully in her beloved Sandringham surroundings as neighbors and hamlet folk waited.
