R G Porter 65 a former Swisher County sheriff will be buried at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia after services at First Methodist Church. Born near Alvarado in 1886 he moved with family to Randall and later near Tulsa. He died of a heart ailment in Colorado Springs. Survived by Bernice Porter his wife four brothers and a sister. In San Francisco Theresa Butler, a 60 year old widow believed dead after a sleeping pill overdose on November 8, regained signs of life and walked with help eleven days later. Doctors report improving condition, with hopes for full recovery as she chats with nurses and knits beside her bed. Earlier, she was pronounced dead and rushed to the morgue before revival.
