CAMAGUEY Cuba Nov 11 Secretary of Public Works Onetti returned from Santa Cruz Del Sur reporting more than 1 000 dead and over 700 injured in the hurricane wreckage. He described the city wiped out with unstanding houses and bodies of children, noting most victims were women and children as men battled the waves. He said he would not recommend rebuilding.
Autrey Bradley eleven was charged with robbery with firearms Friday morning and held in Potter County jail after transfer from city custody. He is accused in the daylight holdup of the Army and Navy Store on Fourth Avenue and Fillmore Street where two bandits took three hundred eighty five dollars and a watch from proprietor Lewis Feferman. Fullbright, questioned with Bradley, has not been charged in this case but is jailed on other charges and is under indictment for wife and child desertion.
The Northwest Texas Methodist Conference reports show church membership gains but lower salary and benevolence contributions.
