Welfare Association Leads Amarillo Chest Budget
The Amarillo Community Chest allocates most funds to the Welfare Association which handles family case work and runs the day nursery under a board including Dr. D. Roach and Mrs. Irene Finley. It emphasizes preserving family life through independence, intelligence, and struggle, aiming to prevent unnecessary suffering while prioritizing service over relief.
