Alexander 63 Dies After Long Illness
C W Alexander aged 63 of 205 East Sixteenth died at his home at 1 this morning after years of ill health. He was a traveling salesman for Marshall Field Company, handling domestic oriental rug lines in 15 states for 18 years. Born in Denton on December 27, 1886, he lived in Midlothian as a boy, later worked in Denton, and began his career with Marshall Field in Chicago. He was a member of the 25 year club, Denton Masonic Lodge, Amarillo Elks, and United Commercial Travelers. Funeral services are set for 2 pm tomorrow at Blackburn-Shaw Memorial Chapel. arrangements pending. Survivors include his wife Annis, an uncle Rev R C Alexander, and two cousins Don Baker and Russell Alexander.

Fall Guy for TV Western Actor Wounded in TV Stunt
