Fort Worth’s James V. Fowler Jr 24 arrived in Amarillo for dental care at the Veterans Hospital. He claims the largest feet in the country with a 14 inch foot length, 6 feet 6 inches tall, and a 34 inch waist. Fowler went into the Army in 1941, served in the South Pacific and Philippines, and jumped 28 times with the Eleventh Airborne Infantry. He was discharged in February and received six pairs of GI shoes. He wears a size 14 shoe and enjoys testing clerks for proper fit.

Polish exile leader Mikolajczyk flees Poland by RAF aid

Theater vandals in custody after near theater stampede
