Government contracting officials from the Army Navy and the Western war plants division will meet with Panhandle and New Mexico contractors in Amarillo November 9 at 1 30 pm. Mrs. Pearl Lourey 18 wife of Harold D. Lourey of Rock Island died at 10:30 last night in a local hospital. Born January 22 1926 in Potter Oklahoma she and her husband lived here three months and their home is Pleasant Valley. She leaves an infant daughter Twana, parents Mr and Mrs George Conover, three sisters Mrs Anna Mae Burch Mrs H D Arney and Miss Ada Josephine Conover Amarillo. Funeral by Boxwell Brothers arranged in Durant Oklahoma.
