Grand Army Ranks Thinned Down to Only 52 Members
Washington May 12 The thinning ranks of the Grand Army of the Republic will number less than three score on Memorial Day. Rolls of the veterans administration disclose that as of May 26 there were only 52 known survivors among those who were the Blue in the War Between the States.
