Colgate Botanist Elected to Rewrite Navy Aircraft Textbook
Dr. Clarence J. Hylander a Colgate University botanist known for science hobby writing several books has been chosen to rewrite the Navy textbook on Aircraft Engines used across 20 naval flight preparatory schools. Hylander became head of the aircraft engines department at Colgate Naval Flight Preparatory School in January and his new work follows his recent book Flying Power to be published this year.
