Time To Enroll Extended For Summer Band Work
The registration deadline for public school summer band has been extended to handle large enrollment. Band director Clyode Rowe says eligible children not yet enrolled will be contacted for further enrollment information. June 6 focuses on final registrations before practice starts June 9 at the Senior High School band room with three daily sessions and separate bands for beginning intermediate and advanced students.

Three Men Enlist in Naval Reserve
Lt. Comdr. John J. Vandale announced the enlistment of three men in the inactive Reserve V-6. The recruits are William E. Louden of 1014 Fillmore, Jesse D. Watson of 718 Buchanan, and Kenneth Scott of 4005 Hughes.
