A 1941 Amarillo High graduate, she will receive her Rice degree next fall. She is 19 and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Eckel. Her brother Pvt. Record Summer School Enrollment Promised in Amarillo
More than 500 high school students expected to attend Amarillo summer school. Principal R. B. Norman announced a record enrollment with about 150 grade pupils. FBI Reports Youth Involvement in 1942 Crimes
The FBI analysis of 58 fingerprint arrest records shows individuals under 21 committed 152 percent of homicides, 14 percent of assaults, and 30 percent of statutory offenses. Youths also accounted for 34 percent of larcenies and robberies, 50 percent of purloaries, and 58 percent of auto thefts. Overall 49 percent of 585,988 arrests had prior fingerprint records. 51 percent for males and 35 percent for females.
