Two Arrested Charge Cattle Thefts in Border Regions

State Police said two men arrested in connection with cattle thefts in eastern New Mexico and West Texas. W R Russell, 39, of Friona, faces charges filed in Tucumcari and Hereford, with his brother J M, 24, held in Texas. About 200 cattle were sought, 15 head recovered, traces found across six states. Russell to be arraigned here Thursday.

Amarillo's building fund inches toward one million with 23,962 to go as two new permits are issued. L. G. Roberts gets 4000 for a five room frame home at 1912 Madison Street and W. L.
