43-year-old Leland Earl Jackson an accountant for Shamrock Oil and Gas was found dead at 9 30 this morning about 75 yards south of the entrance to Castle Cliffs additions four miles northwest of Amarillo A shotgun lay nearby Justice of Peace C W Carder ruled accidental death from gunshot wounds Jackson lived at 502 Carolina He had fished yesterday and planned gun work with his son in law Leon Foster His body was found by H B Stuck and his son Carl and identified by Frank Matlock and Austin Price Funeral arrangements are pending at N S Griggs and Sons Funeral Chapel He was a member of the San Jacinto Baptist Church and survived by his wife mother a daughter two brothers and a sister.
