Mrs. Gertrude A. Dial of Miami seeks an undivided one half interest in the Dial ranch oil fields valued at $11,000,000. The suit names Gulf Production company Panhandle Refining company J J Perkins and others as defendants. The action filed in Plemmons asks title in fee and oil rights for the two minor children and the estate executrix position.

Amarillo Town Struck By Heaviest 1 Day Snow in 18 Years

Amarillo digs out after 11 inches of snow in 24 hours, the heaviest in 18 years. By noon another inch fell as sun and rising temps began melting drifts waist deep. Schools shut midday with classes to resume Wednesday. highways tied up and many cars stored or abandoned. Weather clears tonight with warmer temps promised and wheat and grazing prospects upbeat for Panhandle.

Bank Hold Up in San Antonio Nets $50 000

Three masked gunmen enter the San Antonio National Bank at noon kneeling staff and patrons, taking $50,000 in currency. Robbers fled through a rear door, believed to be in city with no car. Insurance covers the loss. authorities search the area for suspects.

Amarillo Chamber Granted Charter and Starts Drive

The Amarillo chamber of commerce secured a charter and will begin a membership drive likely next week. Incorporators named in the charter include W. W. Mienniken as president Martin Jarett as vice president and C Goodwin as secretary. A directors meeting will be scheduled soon to plan the Geentership campaign.

What Is the Badger Doing at Hutchinson County Well

Amarilloans watch the Badger Oil Company well in Hutchinson county four miles southwest of the South Hutchinson pool. Spudded February 15, it was drilling around 2750 feet with stockholders visiting the site amid heavy snow. No word yet on gas. crowd includes Charley Austin Ben Bynum Grover Hill and Sam Seay.
