Waslav Simek, a 23 year old Czech Slovakian, faces deportation after police say he confessed. The woman, Annie Sladik, 25, denies involvement though Simek accuses her of forcing the letters. Three letters arrived March 5 8 and 12 and handwriting experts link Simek to the threats. A charge of attempted extortion may be filed against Sladik.
