Potter County Medical Auxiliary held its annual meeting in Blackstos. New officers named include President Mrs. R. R. Swindell, first vice president Mrs. Ralph Carroll, secretary Mrs. Merrill W, treasurer Mrs. EA Rowley, public relations chair Mrs. Howard Puckett. The group plans an April 13 luncheon at the Country Club for the district medical meeting and an April 14 coffee in the Oak Room.
Mrs W D Thornton hosted the Needle Art Club yesterday afternoon at 409 Kentucky with individual sewing and an Easter themed tea. Attending were Mesdames Pittman Phipps Tuttle Edwards Hawkins and the hostess. The club meets next April 6 at 2:30 p.m. at Mrs Homer Tuttle’s home 816 Tennessee.
The Eastern Star session in Khiva Temple initiated new members under Mrs. Bertha Vogel. TB Beard assisted in degrees while plans for a covered-dish supper on April 3 at 6:30 p.m. were announced, honoring Pat Boone of Littlefield as worthy grand patron. 15 members attended and refreshments followed with visitors from Oklahoma and Kansas.
