United States Opposes Soviet Disarmament Proposal

At Geneva on March 21 the United States embassy said Washington does not currently back radical Soviet disarmament aims. Hugh S. A new well in Gray county Dan Ciger No 10 blew in late yesterday spraying oil over the surrounding territory. It is estimated the well produced about 1900 barrels in the first twenty four hours. This marks another large producer in Gray county.

Bootlegger and Companion Slain On lonely Cleveland road

The Associated Press reports Morris Nadel, a Cleveland bootlegger who shielded Pat McDermott, and an unidentified companion were found slain in their automobile on a deserted road near Cleveland. McDermott had been among those convicted in the killing of Don R. Mellett, the Canton editor.
