Underpass Crash Delays Ambulances in Amarillo

An accident slowed a front ambulance after a slow-moving car blocked an underpass. Mrs Southworth, wife of Hugh Southworth and stepmother of Harvey Southworth, was transported to hospital. Howard Boxwell’s ambulance was disabled but damage was slight. Captain Marshall Turner investigated.

Funeral Services For Mrs Green Set for Today Amarillo

Funeral services for Mrs S N Green 79 longtime Amarillo resident were set for 4 pm at Griggs Chapel. She widow of S N Green a former hotel operator and a Central Presbyterian member who lived in Amarillo 35 years. Burial in Llano Cemetery beside her husband. Survived by daughters Myrtle Scanlan J B Gibbons of Amarillo and J N Cofield of Dallas and son Roy Green of Amarillo plus several grandchildren. She died Saturday at 3419 West Sixth Avenue.
