City inspector C. G. Spencer calls for a general spring cleaning to reduce flies. Residents should remove trash cans and waste from yards or vacant lots and place it in alleys or burn it. City wagons will haul away properly placed trash, aiming to improve Amarillo's sanitation in two weeks.
Increased business at the San Jacinto post office station Ko. 1 led to enlarging the box capacity about three months ago and now a further addition of fifty four boxes has been added. Demand for boxes and high volume may trigger another increase before year end.
