Lost and found items flood Tack letters page
A mishmash of lost items and requests fills Tack letters. Appeals include a stray dog Scrappy with harness wear marks offering a $5 reward, found makeup kit with name bracelets, a lost blue suede purse with cash and discharge papers, a missing daughter, a lonely hearts inquiry, a whiskey ad with a dated 1868 proof note, and multiple lost billfolds and identification. Readers urged to call numbers to recover belongings and reconnect owners.
