Loot totals exceed 25 thousand dollars, with the largest caper the Montgomery Ward roof top and safe theft on January 12, where a safe containing 5 thousand six hundred dollars plus guns and ammo were taken. Man Hurt in Accident at Roundhouse
E. J. Stoops a Santa Fe machinist helper suffered head injuries in a roundhouse accident this morning at about 10 45. He is in serious condition at St. Anthony's Hospital after being struck on the head while loosening slack between locomotive and tender. An accompanying worker left briefly. the slack adjuster broke and Stoops was found on the floor. Griggs ambulance transported him to hospital.
