Jack Coffee Invited To Speak At Signal Association Meeting
City electrician Jack Coffee has been invited to speak on street and highway lighting at the International Municipal Signal Association convention in Buffalo New York October 4 to 7. Coffee recently became president of the Southwest Section and will address lighting controls and related municipal issues. He notes Amarillo’s army air field activation debates and local protests over inclusion in the reactivation program amid talks with air force officials and Congressman Worley. The report ties regional airfield activations to broader war department decisions and local administrative actions.
