AUSTIN June 294 Jackson Harris convicted in Harris and Austin County courts for burglary and liquor law violations received a full pardon from Gov. Miriam A. Ferguson. Bandit Gang Chases Texan Couple in Chicago Robbery
Leo Dickey and his wife Elizabeth of Falfurra Texas were attacked by five bandits while en route to friends’ home. Dickey was shot in the leg and both were beaten. the assailants robbed them of 100 dollars before fleeing. Police took the couple to the county hospital with painful but not serious injuries.
