Second and third places went to Marjorie Joiner and Georgia Rae Lain, with several others named among the winners. Judges were Jud Kirkham, Paul Allingham, and H Nesbit. The contest is sponsored annually by Ward stores.
In Kansas City on June 25 Olney Wilson sought a round of golf. An introduced Bill Wilson agreed to partner, and a third man named Paul Wilson joined as the third golfer, forming a threesome.
