Unofficial reports to the News-Globe say Gulf No. 9 Dial Section 84 Block M-23 Hutchinson yielded 600 to 700 barrels daily after a morning shot and could reach 1000. The well, ninety feet into sand with twenty five to go, was shot with 120 quarts and expected to boost oil activity in a wide area. Douglas well was also expected to begin drilling today.
