Lost heirloom quilt found after alley mix up
Mrs. H. H. Finnell of 1026 Bowie reported an heirloom quilt went missing after her son Joe Finnell and friend Jimmy Greer wrapped bedding in an alley while helping a neighbor with cherry picking. The quilt reappeared when buyer Mrs. Raymond Garrett of 411 Fannin called to say she had purchased it from a junk dealer.
