A storm southwest of Amarillo brought dark clouds and a twister like cloud sighting between Umbarger and Canyon. Heavy rains fell in the Panhandle with Amarillo at 0.2 inches and other towns reporting 0.25 to 0.5 inches as moisture aided row crops and wheat.
