Drilling Contractor Arrives for Word Site Water Well
Drilling contractor P. S. Judy has arrived to drill the Word site test water well and the first shipment of drilling machinery has reached. Two carloads left Oklahoma City Saturday night and are expected soon. Drilling is expected to start shortly and should take only a few days to complete the well.

Safe Stolen From Allison Filling Station Recovered
A safe stolen four weeks ago from the Allison Filling Station at 716 Taylor Street was found yesterday afternoon seven miles north of Amarillo in the Bivins pasture by Charles Hurston of the Amarillo Gas Company. About $20 in cash was taken and robbers left valuable papers in the safe.

Mr and Mrs Garrett Visit Amarillo on Return Trip
