J W Fitzsimmons a 45 year old brakeman was found burned to death in the Compton apartment house fire at 700 Johnson street in Big Spring Texas at five this morning. He roomed on the second floor and his charred body was recovered from the debris with all flesh burned and arms off at the elbows. Authorities suspect foul play and conduct an investigation.
Secretaries of chambers of commerce and agents plan three state exhibits to boost Panhandle growth. J D Tinsley opposes colonization trains and urges farmers view land locally. ABC Pass Grand Canyon delegates from Oklahoma Texas and New Mexico discuss road improvements and highway progress.
President Coolidge departs Washington tonight for Brule Wisconsin to spend the summer after his final speaking engagement. Rex Walling of Austin drug store reports returning from a weeklong vacation to Wichita Falls Shingles repairs and glass work listed for John Maynard Lumber Co.
