One Story Addition Favored for Amarillo High School
Amarillo school board endorsed architect James Rittenberrys concept for a single story addition to the high school, replacing the planned two story expansion. The plan lowers floor space and saves at least 100000, keeping the library and moving the cafeteria into the new building to serve both the high school and Elizabeth Nixson Junior High.
