Society notes highlight local weddings and gatherings
Miss Mary Gladys Potts of Lubbock married A M Weilenman in a June ceremony at First Christian church in Lubbock. The bride, a Lubbock High School graduate, and the groom, Texas A and M and Bowie Commercial College alum, work with Spencer-Nunn Electric at the Texas School of Technology. Other items note Kathryn Paria’s return from Our Lady of the Lake College, Will A. Miller Chapter UDC meeting at Mrs. Hitchcock’s home, Walter Axtell piano recital, Miss Margaret Burt visiting Plainview, Elks dances with Jimmie Allen’s Dallas musicians.
