Amarillo Texas. H W Richardson claims examiner says a new reconversion unemployment program for seamen began July 21 and runs two years. Eligible workers must have served on War Shipping Administration vessels in the past 18 months and file claims at 323 West Seventh. About 800 Texas seamen are unemployed and 5 000 may qualify. Identification documents are required for payment.
