Braniff inaugurates first eastward flight from Amarillo
The Braniff Airlines began regular tri weekly passenger service from Amarillo to principal Oklahoma cities with a six place Stinson-Detroiter. Mr and Mrs Allen Freeman and Mrs E Campf and her 10 month old daughter of Amarillo were aboard the maiden eastward flight. Ted Lewis piloted the plane brought in yesterday by Paul Braniff who attended the ceremony. Regular eastward flights will operate Monday Wednesday and Friday with returns the following mornings.
