The Business and Professional Women's Club met at the Amarillo hotel with a 6:30 dinner and an hour of entertainment from a Rotary club questionnaire. Mrs. Ward won with 63 points receiving candy as a prize. Several others scored 60 points. A banner committee reported progress on a dining room banner. The meeting adjourned at 8 o'clock.
The weekly Presbyterian church night service will be held tonight at 8 o'clock in the hall. Dr Thom son will speak on Moral and Religious Progress in the Bible. The Senior Endeavor society will provide entertainment and refreshments with Miss Larah Stidger as hostess. The Busy Bee Sewing club will meet Friday at 3 o'clock at 1198 Fillmore Street.
Cincinnati telephone operator Beauty Jean Shields continues her winning streak by taking first prize at a Cincinnati contest after previously captivating judges in Salina and Linsburg Kansas and Kansas City Missouri. Last year she was voted most beautiful girl in Kansas City and earned a trip to Hawaii and the Orient.
