Victims of Crash Are Improving

Two men injured in a head on collision on Canyon Highway four miles south of Amarillo were reported improving in Amarillo hospitals on Thursday. David Frost 23 lives at West Texas State College veteran housing and is treated for a injured left arm at St Anthony's Hospital. Alvis Redden an WTSC art instructor remains in Northwest Texas Hospital with a compound fracture of the left arm facial cuts and abrasions. The collision happened as their cars tried to pass a third vehicle. Five students riding with Redden escaped serious injury. Traffic halted as motorists stopped to watch and ropes and chains were used to free stranded drivers.

Showers End Heat Wave In Texas Panhandle
