In Alexandria Minnesota the Beedy family converted an auto trailer into a base ment and parked it there. They dug a basement and now plan to add a couple of rooms to the structure.
British bombers destroyed 17 Axis ships totaling about 100000 tons and struck Hamburg and other industrial areas in northwestern Germany.
