School Girls Die in Crash in Honduras
In Tegucigalpa on July 15 eleven Honduran high school girls died when a truck plunged into a thousand foot abyss near Sauce. Twenty two were injured, some seriously. Driver Luis Medina died at the scene. Salvador Correto, minister of public works, was seriously injured while trying to reach the accident site. The girls had visited a nearby picnic spot for lunch, dancing, and native games.
