200 Foot Steel Tower Aids Herring Hotel Construction

A 200 foot steel tower rises on Third and Pierce streets to accelerate the Herring Hotel project. Victor L. Phillips Co and H. W. Underhill Construction plan a December 15 completion with penalties for delays. Three shifts and about 300 workers operate under G Frazer supervision with rigger teams from Kansas City.
