Betty Marie Walker, age under three, was struck in the 300 block on Fast Twenty-Fourth Avenue and rushed to Northwest Texas Hospital with a fractured leg and crushed chest. Her mother, Mrs. W. R. Walker, is in critical condition after an operation. Driver J R Ruskin halted to assist and an ambulance was summoned. The girl was initially taken to a doctor's office before hospital care.
