Texas Retail Sales Rise in May and Year to Date

Fugitives from Fort Crockett Arrested in Galveston

Three army guardsmen who escaped from Fort Crockett are captured in an abandoned railroad house by Police Captain Jim Shawn and Lieut Hobson McGill. A fourth private remains at large. The four face court martial and will be held in city jail until military police return them to the fort.
