J. D. Allston Hurt In Auto Accident
J D Allston of 814 Fairmont Steel was hurt when his car left the highway a mile south of Amarillo. A broken spring caused the loss of control and the car was found 300 yards in a field near Georgia Street. He was unconscious at the scene, later conscious at St Anthony's Hospital, with possible back injuries. He reported a $55 bill fold was lost at the scene.
