The Amarillo Fat Stock Show gains extra room as the Tri-State Fair Association moves a 42 by 120 foot building within the fairgrounds near the machinery shed. The association will cover costs and by June 1 will install a concrete foundation. The court also asks for a hydraulic dump body for Precinct 3 and plans an external audit with a February 10 vote on contracting at a minimum of $3,000.
Representatives from the Southwest attend a regional training session at the Amarillo Hotel. Dr. O M Franklin of Kansas City Missouri founder of the company is the principal speaker. About 35 delegates participate in the meeting.
Peter Irvin Grant 37 son of Mrs. M O Grant and brother of Mrs. Hill Armstrong of Amarillo died after a short illness in Los Angeles California. Survived by mother, sister, three other sisters in Texas and New Mexico. Body by Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors. Funeral plans not completed.
