San Jacinto Kiwanis Anns Hold Luncheon at Youth Center
Womans Page reports San Jacinto Kiwanis Anns met for a luncheon at the Youth Center. Mrs. Henry Cusick presided, plans included continuing weekly luncheons for Kiwanis Club, a March of Dimes contribution, and seating a tea for wives of Kiwanis members. The next luncheon is Feb 4 at noon.

Ladies Class Sponsors Breakfast at San Jacinto Church
The San Jacinto Methodist Church Ladies' Friendship Class hosted a come-as-you-are breakfast yesterday morning at Mrs. J. R. McDowell's home, 1309 Broadmoor, with Mrs. E. R. Jacobson as co-hostess. Jonquils and iris decorated the serving table, blue tapers lit the scene, and Mrs. T. Edgar Neal presided at coffee service.

Local student honored for drama and club leadership
Roberta Royse of Monticello College was named Average Monticello Girl after excelling in senior hygiene statistics and portraying the Mock Turtle in a Drama Class production. She plans to pursue dramatics and writes for the Times. Gilbert Hatcher, son of Mr and Mrs L F Hatcher, called from Bern, Switzerland during a three day pass while stationed in Italy.
