Sound gun claims surfaced at Aberdeen proving ground
ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND Md. Jan. 18 An Army ballistics expert said Nazis developed a so called sound gun using sound waves to kill a man in 30 to 40 seconds. Col Leslie E Simon said the project was halted by Allied victory after being ordered by Albert Speer. About 300 Super Sonics experts attended a conference sponsored by the Navy at Aberdeen for testing devices. German scientists reportedly told Americans of the work and its slim chances of success.
